The Colon
The colon, or large intestine, is an important part of the digestive system. It has been referred to as the sewer system of the body. Some five feet in length and 2.5 inches in diameter, situated at the end of the alimentary canal.
It is the place where we store the waste material that most of us would rather not think about and most of us don't, until our health becomes poor or we feel bloated, constipated, or have diarrhoea. 80% of all disease and discomfort is related to an unclean colon - due to impacted faecal matter. It may be said that almost every chronic disease known, is directly or indirectly due to the influence of bacterial poisons absorbed from the intestine.
If we neglect and abuse our colon, it becomes a cesspool, and if we don't get rid of the toxins, they just keep building up and are reabsorbed into the blood creating autointoxication or self-poisoning. This results in a dramatically weakened immune system, poisons the digestive organs, so that we become distressed and bloated, and poisons the blood. The skin becomes unhealthy. In short, every organ of the body is poisoned and we age prematurely, looking and feeling old. The joints become stiff and painful, the eyes become dull, sluggish brain, and in the end leads to debilitating health problems, including colon cancer. The five foot long tube we call the colon, or large intestine, determines whether or not the body is polluted.
- The healthy transit time of food through our body is less than 24 hours.
- On average, in the UK, it is now 60 hours for men and 70 hours for women.
- The UK has the highest incidence of bowel cancer in the world with 20, 000 new cases each year.
- One in three people consulting their GP have a bowel problem.
About Colon Hydrotherapy
What is Colon Hydrotherapy?
Colon hydrotherapy is an internal bath that helps cleanse the colon of poisons, gas, accumulated faecal matter and mucous deposits.
Such techniques were first recorded in 1500BC and have been used in traditional medicine since that time.
Using sterilised equipment, filtered water is gently introduced into the rectum which progressively softens and expels faecal matter and compacted deposits.
Why Colon Hydrotherapy?
Colon hydrotherapy is more effective than an enema as the whole colon is treated and water is not purposely retained. It is best used as a complementary
technique to other therapies.
It will help elimination, and as a result, respond to dietary, homeopathic, herbal, manipulative and other therapies is markedly improved. Poor elimination can lead to many chronic conditions
It is beneficial before and after barium enemas and during therapeutic fasting. Medical conditions such as Crohn's disease, ME and intestinal Candida are helped by the detoxifying effect of colon hydrotherapy. If you don't have any problems you will still benefit from a bowel cleanse with colon hydrotherapy.

Questions & Answers
Is colon hydrotherapy safe?
Yes. Equipment, if not disposable, is thoroughly sterilised. Water pressure is very low, and pre-filtered.
Colon hydrotherapy is not habit-forming, unlike laxatives, and actually improves muscle tone.
What is involved?
Filtered water is slowly introduced under gentle gravitational pressure, through the rectum and into the colon. Aided by massage
and breathing techniques, the water begins to soften and cleanse the colon, resulting in faecal matter and old deposits being washed away with all the waste
water. The therapist works progressively around the structure of the colon, allowing water to alternatively flow in and release.
Herbal preparations may be used for certain conditions and regular colon implants of lactobacillus acidophilus are given to assure normalisation of bowel fibre.
We will preserve the modesty of the patient to the utmost during the process.
How long will a treatment take?
The whole process takes around an hour and a half.
Who can benefit from colon hydrotherapy?
Everyone.
Is there any preparation?
No special measures are necessary prior to treatment, although results may be more rapidly achieved by following a colon cleansing programme.
What results can I expect?
Most people quickly experience improved mental clarity after treatment. Toxic loads are
diminished and elimination improved. A greater feeling of
well-being and lightness is felt.
Obvious relief from constipation, bloating, toxic headaches, painful haemorrhoids and skin problems
In the long term, bowel disease risk is lessened and nutrients are better absorbed, leading to improved all round health.
How many treatments should I have?
This will be dependent upon the condition being treated, the individual and the initial results.
It takes 3 - 4 treatments to cleanse the colon, depending on the condition. We can recommend 6 to 12 treatments over a one or two month period, as a lifetimes build up of deposits cannot be removed in one or two irrigations only.
Following the course, it is a good idea to have a treatment every three to six months to maintain cleanliness and good elimination. You will be given professional advice on diet and nutrition to suit your individual needs.

Cancellation Policy
I realise that sometimes, cancellations cannot be avoided, however, I do ask that you give at least 24 hours notice should
you need to cancel this must be done by phone and not text. the full treatment fee will be charged if you do not give 24 hours notice.
It works the same for both of us.
Suppose I decide not to work the day of your appointment, you leave work and drive 45 minuets to come for your therapy and I have left the clinic with out notifying you in enough time. This would not feel good to you. Once you have scheduled an appointment, that time is put aside for you. In essence, you have already paid for that slot.I do have a waiting list and in the event that I am able to fill your cancellation, you will be exempt from paying the broken appointment charge.
